Our Favorite Home Sale of the Year

The Scene:

Our buyers wanted to be close to Lipscomb Elementary and were not afraid of doing work to a house. They also wanted to be under $800,000 for a single family house in one of the highest priced zip codes in town.


How We Started:

List Price of $799K

The house was a fixer-upper

The buyer was using a VA Loan

The buyer had a sale of home contingency


How We Ended:

Sale Price of $750K + $5000 in buyer closing costs

We worked with the VA Loan appraiser and the seller to make VA required repairs before closing.  We met the appraiser there to go over the required items and again to get his sign off

Sold their current house, closed in 30 days and had 1 week post-closing occupancy.
