We received a Sale of Home contingency offer on a listing last week, and the buyer's agent didn't have any prep work done. He didn’t include photos or a price for the contingent property, and there was no information about comps.
We knew it could be weeks before the house was ready to list, and it wasn’t clear how they arrived at their asking price. We ended up choosing a lower offer that didn't have the contingency.
